Wow, mine is 5-5.5" at the moment and is alone in the 150. I'm planning on adding my 4x 3.5" monos from my 40 gal as soon as i train them to eat pellets.

Eh I'm not stating that all jars are aggressive lol but yeah good luck with that, I've seen videos of jars with Pbass tankmates, looks
Really cool, what you feeding the jar btw?

I'm just housing them together until the bass are big enough not to get eaten by the ones in my 240. The store owner told me its already pellet trained so ill be feeding it hikari aro sticks for now. Planning on giving it a varied diet of market shrimp, fd krill, pellets, and fish fillets.

lot of people say around 8" but i dont know i have my jar which is 14-15" now with my other fish and it never bothered another fish not even once. personality differs in every jar imo. heck some of my fishes even follow my jar around like big brother little brother and my jar doesnt even care lol

So i think the 150 may be too big for him. He's swimming in the lower half region of the tank and wont come anywhere near the surface. I put in 3 hikari aro sticks this morning and checked on them 5 mins later and they were still there.

I'm thinking about putting him in the 40 gallon with the 4 monos, but the water temp is 86F in there. Will he be ok in water that warm?
