Jardini become a true arowana

Hey guys ..
Just want to share a thing that i recently discover .. its a bit weird .. i own a jardini about 4inch in size name marcus ..
Before this i use a normal white light for marcus aquarium but then at that time he wasnt eating like he surpose to meaning to say that normally arowana are a aggresive eater rite .. after trying to feed it with different type of food that behavior doesnt change .. until i change the light inside the tank .. from white i change it to reddish purplish lighting and also add on a red spotlight that can be submerge underwater ..

And now .. he is eating more .. starting to eat those neon tetra inside the tank and start attacking red fin shark and tiger shark .. and i am now happy .. because my arowana is behaving like it surpose to behave ..
 
ah your making your jardini aggressive haha and thats weird
 
your aro was probably new to the tank that time and was still settling in, so he wasnt all that aggressive. now he has settled in properly so you will be able to see the real jars.i dont think it is anything to do with the lights or anything as such

heres my conclusion. took me awhile to figure out what was goin on with all the run-on sentences and grammar but heres what i think.

how long did you have it?
maybe he wasnt eating because the lfs was feeding him something different from what you were trying to feed him and didnt recognized.
since the jardini was hungry from not eating, you switch the lights, throw in the food and realizing thats the only thing hes gonna get he eats it.

I give him/her the same food as the LFS did .. I had him/her for about a month. The thing is he ate the same food before this but not like now .. he is eating more and the way it was meant to be. I prefer the idea that he/she finally settle down in the tank but who knows .. :D
