After getting my first ever Jardini, I want more. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with Jardini communities, I know they are intollerant of other fish in their tank. But if i had say, six orso, would the higher number spread out aggression to the point that they will coincide with each other, has anyone tried this in the past. What about multiple Jars with other fish in the tank?
What I've been thinking is try putting 6 in my 6'x2'wx2.5'h and raise them until they are about 14" and if they still "get along" get a 10'x3'wx2.5'h, if not a LFS said he will take them all off my hands.
So what do you guys think, Try it and find out, or it will be a tragic failure.

i don't have much experience, but i at least have some....

jars seem to "act" better when they are not the dominate fish in the tank - both in number and power.....

perhaps 4 would work, with 4 to 6 "other" fish.....

but you would need to be thinking about that tank upgrade pretty soon.....

pbass....get them slightly larger....they'll keep the jars in check....mine does at least......

Don't do it, after ignoring the advice from others on this forum I went ahead and got 8 jars...... 1st day one jar was attacked by another jar and one eyeball went missing....next day the jar with missing eyeball dead....after that they continued to fight.....missing scales and shreed fins....not so pretty..... well anyways here's a video I had If you wanna see what is going to happen. By the way they were all 4 inches when I got them now they are all in seperated tanks.

Hell nah

i have a 13" silver and a 11" jar together and they are fine. the jar has started showing some aggression to my 7" butti but gets on fine with other fish in the tank.it really depends on the fish and luck.
