when they get spoiled on krill it's hard to get them on other staple foods. like viper mentioned crickets or other insects *food that have similar texture a good transition before/during pellet training. honestly jars that size don't like pellets unless they been eating em since baby size. some people starve them but that's not even guaranteed w/pellets if the fish doesn't know what it is. if u have other fish in the tank they'll show the aro it's ok to eat it. when u wanna get your aro to eat pellets try mixing w/other foods/insects or even krill pellets and slowly increase to 100% arowana or other suggested pellets.

ok thx for the help

I went from crickets to a mix of hikari gold and carnesticks. Once he started to eyeball my hand and anticipate feedings i added pellets then starved him. Now i have to fake him out or he jumps and bites me.
