I went from crickets to a mix of hikari gold and carnesticks. Once he started to eyeball my hand and anticipate feedings i added pellets then starved him. Now i have to fake him out or he jumps and bites me.

sadly he died do to trying to jump and injuring himself

i gave mine all kinds of food, minimal live food, but what i did mix in was aro yellow color enhancer - White Crane brand C.R.#8

Yellow chlorophyl vitamin for all fish straight from Thailand via amazon prime or eBay. stil have a whole bottle left it's like powder but now i want to get my fish red so keeping this in the fridge til next time.

also using - ocean free arowana vitamin complex - in all my tanks

top color separation on him looks amazing. even with your black substrate his belly is bright white. sick.

get him a flagtail tankmate or something that will follow him like a pilot fish.. i showed wes this vid on youtube where a goliath african tiger had a flagtail tankmate it was intense. your jar is nice age almost ready to maybe mix with another aro if you decide to get another or if u find a mate even better! he needs some interaction though they'll live longer even if it's like a little baby crayfish !

Bonytang i had a decent sized flagtail with him and he killed it. He doesnt make friends very well

Im a teen money is tuff I got a flowerhorn and a lima shovelnose instead thts my new nice fish maybe wen I get a 250 gallon or bigger ill try again
