my jardinis fins are ****ed up. ive been trying to heal them for the past couple of weeks but it isnt getting better. the water parameters are perfect and the temperature is at 80-82 and i added salt. there used to be a flowerhorn in the tank with him but they would always nip at eachother so i took the flowerhorn out. the flowerhorns fins have healed within a day of taking him out but my jardni isnt healing at all. it doesnt seem to be getting worse though...idk what to do.

There's this conditioner that i tried when my arrows fins got bit down to his body. Its called stress coat and it works really well.

i have the hikari ultimate water conditioner and its supposed to replace the slime coat and stuff which i think is the same as what stress coat does??? if thats the case then stress coat will likely not work either...

Oh ok yeah it does it has aloe restoring treatment but i guess they would be the same what size tank do you have and how long has it been rotted?

i have experienced fin rot before but with the datnoids. What I did was to use Melafix for a week. The cheaper alternative would be salt, methylene blue and water change.

My jardini still has fin rot...ive done water changes about 4 times a week at about 20-30% each time. I've been treating with melafix for the past 3 days but the condition hasnt changed at all.
Ammonia : 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 10
water temp: ~81

I thought i read that melafix works quickly, is it working but im just not seeing it? Any suggestions?
