Ouch $200 for a jar at that size is pretty steep. As said before, here in Southern California 3-6 in jars go for $40-$60 which sounds kind of weird considering that jars are native to Aus... Maybe the best way to go if you don't feel like dropping that kind of cash for a jar is to buy of the internet or you can check out some local asian fish stores. Is there a chinatown near you or something because normally you'll find aros cheapest at the asian stores. Also you could try posting a "want to buy" add in the vendor forums here or try aquabid.com or something along those lines. Thats my 2 cents so Good Luck!

Kinda old thread but if you havent found one yet send me a PM and i can help you out. $200 is abit steep but 80-100 is fairly normal. Most of the big wholesalers dont sell them for under $50.
And yes Americans we get it you can get stuff cheaper. No idea what the relevance of your prices are. Most of our natives are fairly cheap just not jardini.

$70 is heaps cheap for a jar in sydney - from what i've seen average price for baby jar's are between $100-120.

noob question but where is Lam's Aquariums?
