Where eva theres Cichla!!!
hey,

Was just at my mates place and he showed me this growth type thing that's happenin to his jardini... his scales are starting to lift and showing a pinkish colour...it did rip some scales off it's self the other week cause it got stuck in some piping (prolly chasing/checking out the umbee) so were wondering if this was caused by that...however any feedback would be great...atm he's treating with pimafix and doin water changes, in the pics i'm providing ive circled the troubled areas...the pics were taken with my phone so they aint the best quality!

When the sclaes lift the aro is very vulnerable to infection. I would add melafix and primafix at full strengh, increase salt ( 50/50 - aquarium/epsom ) to 0.3-0.5% slowly over the course of a day, at the same time increase water temp to 88-90 F. Should improve in a few days.

:iagree: Could be sign of early stage of fungus. Boydo already covered the treatment/preventative care
