If you've tried kanamycin, which is for internal bacterial infections, plus polyguard and paraguard, and the fish was not eating all along, chances are your fish has either worms or flagellates and the bacterial infection, what you see on the fins, is a secondary invasion.

I just today started the Polyguard, I was thinking the medication was suppressing his appetite. He ate until I started the Kanaplex. If the treatment of Polyguard isn't effective, what would you suggest for possible works? Prazipro? Another thing I might after any activity around tank either water change or trying to feed or medication he swims quickly with his head down tail up? When he is at rest he is parallel. Thanks for your help.

How long of a break did you give him between treatments? It may take time for a fish to start eating after treatment.

You may have to give it a bit more time.
According to Rocksor Rocksor

The SA lungfish fully recovered after running the course of the max treatment time of Polyguard.

It was one week off of medication. Doesn't show any interest in what he ate the most nightcrawlers. I was wondering if he got something from the nightcrawlers, because he has always been alone, I have had him for 1 year.

If the fish stopped eating after the kanaplex, then the meds were irritating him. I'd finish the course of the last treatment and give him more time off meds with really clean water. If it's bacterial, it's in the water and taking out and replacing the majority with fresh water will help his immune system kick in and fight it off.

I suggested worms/flagellates because you said the fish didn't eat but the lack of appetite maybe the stress of the meds.

Well it has been two months and my Jardini still has tail rot. I just finished treatment with API Fin and Body. I am going to give him a break. I just don't know what to try next.
