It also seems like it's stomach is puffy. I fed her a cricket from the store the other day. Could she have caught something from the cricket?

Also, her poop is clear. Not sure if that makes a difference but who knows. lol.

try some live fish, see what happens. so he already ate a cricket? hows its swimming patterns?

Don't do this. This is terrible advice. Live fish are notoriuous for carrying disease and parasites.

White poop normally indicates something upset in the stomach of the fish.

Don't feed it anything the aro will be fine. Allow a few days for it to digest. if it still looks the same way after a few days, you can add some epsom salt to aid in digestion.

Crickets from the stores are normally ok if they just arrive in the shop and the carrot is still nice and orange. Otherwise I would avoid them.

Have you had this aro for awhile and it was eating normally, or did you just get the arowana?

Thanks for the info. She still hasn't eaten but I think she is getting better.

Yeah, no more crickets. I am going to stick with Hikari sticks and shrimp. It seems safer and I really don't want to lose her.

You fed your jar a cricket, that was most lilkely the problem. It's not that the cricket was foul or diseased, but there have been many instances where someone would feed crickets once and their aros will go on hunger streaks and only continue eating crickets even if they were once on other foods. Try not to feed crickets unless you have to. They don't make much nutrition even if you do happen to gutload them beforehand.
