Hi all,
I've found a Arowana for sale locally online. The ad initially said it was a Jardini with 10% Red Blood??? I pointed out to him that a Jar wasn't asian so how could it be part Red Arrow?
He's now come back saying it's actually a Banjar with 10% red blood. Not sure how you get 10% of one type of fish and 90% of another but whatever.
My question is; Based on the only picture have of this supposedly eight inch fish do you think it's a Jar or an Asian. I'm trying to arrange to go and see the fish in person but wondered if anyone could tell from the picture. Asian Arrow are so rare here i've never seen one so I'm not sure.

Thanks:)

Thanks for your replies
Still waiting for the guy to come back to me contact details.
If it is an Asian I'll be all over like a rash :) A green is the most basic Asian right? Even is it is a Lei I'll pick it up it's all a matter of price...
They guy is asking serious money but I'm sure he'll negotiate. They're rare here for a reason. People won;t pay the money an Asian demands. That is just as relevant in the private market as in the LFS world

nice silver aro dubai pond..where do you live

It was, but sadly it died.
I live in Barsha near the Mall of Emirates.
I've got a Jardini, had it since September. I thought this thing was an Jar because of the short Barbels etc but it has a blue tinge to it that mine just doesn;t have.
I'll get some more pictures and post them if and when I hear back from the seller.

What other fish do you have?
