Well you would have to grow out the babies a few inches before you could sell them which would be a few months. It will also have to be done in a separate tank because the parents would kill off the fry from the previous spawn when they try to spawn again. So you would probably need a 40g-55g to grow out the fry and then a 75-90g for the pair to breed in. Note: you would need a divider in case the pair fights. Then theres the trouble of someone wanting to buy flowerhorn from a young kid, (Took forever to establish a deal with my a few of my local fish stores to buy my angelfish. Only one of them paid cash, the other two only gave me store credit.) Breeding is a lot more complicated then putting two fish together of the opposite sex. I stopped breeding after 3 years because the hobby became more of a job and I stopped enjoying it. After selling off my pairs and my smaller tanks, I'm a lot more happy just keeping my large tanks.

Hmmm I will jsut have to wait when im like an adult cause Of school things and all that stuff :l

Leads to higher chances of genetic mutation, most stray away from it unless your breeding a offspring back to a parent to produce more of the favored trait.

I Would Buy A FH From one lfs (lets say male) den get the female from another lfs.. to avoid in-breeding..:)

Hmm how about when I buy fh Should I buy a group Or just buy them single?

Flowerhorn are aggressive and best kept alone. You could probably raise a few juveniles together, but once they get a certain size they won't tolerate each other. At which point you would have to separate them.
