So we just put my Jardini into a new 125 gallon tank and for the first week it seemed to be acclimating to the tank very well, up until a few nights ago is has begun to swim on the bottom of the tank and has become pale, there are a few white blotches forming on the head and he lost alot of his vibrant color what may be the problem?

The water condition is good, and it's crystal clear. The other fish in the tank: 1 1.5'' cichlid and a few fry as well as a 5'' Syno cat are all doing perfectly fine. it's just the jardini. i'll post pics.

he is sick.

Up the temps to 30Cº and add salt. let us see what gives.

keep us posted.

Do not feed it. it will only spoil the water.

Was the new tank properly cycled? Can you detail the process of its installation, timings, etc...

What was the aro feeding on?

Several days before we put In the jardini did a 50-75% water change, we added an fx 5 which I bought and cleaned after purchase on MFK, we let the tank cycle for about 2 days and i can see how it might have not had enough time to properly cycle but we threw in a syno cat and 1.5" cichlids and they were fine and we feeding him jumbo hikari arow pellets and krill
