Could be because they are a AUSTRALIAN NATIVE and a little bit harder to obtain than the Asian Arowanas ...... dont feel to bad thou I am Australian live in Australia it is a native fish in our waters and we still pay nothing less than $200 AUD for a fish
90% of the LFS here are a joke with either disease ridden fish for sale or the good stores need you to take out a second Mortgage to by a decent fish. Dont complain it could always be worse you could be a Monster Fish Keeper in AUSTRALIA!!!!!
