he ate today i just have to drop the worm in and step back from the tank so he will eat. when i am near the tank when he's approaching the food he quickly backs off. i think he will be fine after a few weeks

so i watched my aro from a distance today and he acts completely normal when he doesnt see me. im just gonna start spending more time around the tank to see if he starts to like me

just be normal..try sitting infront of the tank for as long as you can..you can see the fish and the fish can see you..it due time it will know you and not be shy of you..thers nothing special you need to do.

Just give him time to adjust to his new environment. He is still fairly new and appetitte will pick up in a little while. Keep watching water parameters.
