Jardini + Silver Aro

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Went downstairs this morning and both of them were fine. One thing I am going to do is keep them well fed. Still no signs of aggression. I will post some pics and a video when I get off work today!!!

My jar has always had a lot of tankmates. He has been in his tank with a ton of little catfish, 2 blood parrot cichlids, 2 petsmart FH's, 1 little dovii, couple of convicts, red jewels cichlids since he was like 3.5 inches. He looks like he is over 12" now. Hope he doesn't go Physco anytime soon!!!!

sounds like you might be fine and I hope they will be. gives me hope...

It's OK to atempt this just make sure you can seperate at a moments notice. If things go bad it will likeky happen quickly, so keep another tank available.

So far So Good!!!!!!

I've been busy with work and keep forgeting my camera at work. I try to take a video of them this weekend!!!!

That's awesome!! Gald to hear they are still doing well.

Maybe I will try it this weekend. The one thing that I'm hesitant about is that my jar is much bulkier than my silver. The jar is around 16", maybe 17", and my silver is around 15", but just based on the bodies of the fish...it seems like my jar could break my silver in two.

Well, I decided to give it a try this weekend so I could monitor them and so far so good over here. The jardini came over, checked out the silver and turned around and showed no interest what so ever.

Here's the evidence:
