stupid lfs....don't ever listen to them tell your girlfriend too. anyone on this forum would have been able to tell you that wouldn't have worked....did you ask em why he suggested it?

either keep the jar with maybe some large plecos or get rid of him and keep the silver which can go with a lot of fish. depending on what you like, jardinis are more personable fish...

I disagree, in my experience silvers are MUCH more personable. I've had both. Silvers interact and and relatively calm. My jardini was skittish and violent. Not personable at all.

agree the jard is a hyper madman every fish he sees, he's punking them out, the silver is more mellow, but does not tolerate anything

i'm going to talk to the lfs guy why he suggested it, Gf got it as a surprise, I didn't know she was going to get it, if I knew I wouldn;t have recommended it......
