So my friend really wants to get rid of his 4'' jardini but the LFS will only give 10 bucks for it.... and he wants it to grow faster but that's not possible in his 40 gallon tank.... SO! he asked me if he can toss it in my tank.....

problem is that my Silver Arowanas are like 14 inches each and there are THREE of em. They never took live food so they are pretty gentle other than the occassional 3 inch pbass (a while back :P, but there are 3 pbass survivors that are hitting about 5'' atm)
I told him it's not a great idea, but we'll see how it goes!
I'll keep ya guys updated!

if one silver grabed jars tail and one grabed its head and they swim in opposite directions as fast as they can.... well you should get the idea.... no more jar.

i dunno, the jar might shoot laser beam from it eyes:ROFL:

Alright so he's been chillin in there for a while, and he went straight to business! no shying away or anything, swimmin up with the big boys :d

No nipping or fighting yet, cuz he still respects the big guys in there, here is a nice pic of my jar (he is a bit beaten cuz it was my friend's) and the smallest silver i have :d

Ohh jesus..... That looks like a Motivation parody poster right there.....
Like the kind that say FAIL lol.
Best of luck to you bro.... Its a 50/50 at the best of times..... the odds here I dont think are that even
Do you have a divider you can use till you beef the lil guy up a bit?

hahaha i know right! it's really not MY fish. my friend insisted it went in my tank even though i gave him many many MANY warnings. He noticed it didnt eat at all in his 40 gallon and it has remained the same size for 2 months now... so yeah he kinda lost hope and took the chance. I have never fed my silvers live food before so they aren't really aggressive, but you never know right? I'm actually more concerned that my silvers will be TOO nice and get their fins nipped or something.

The jar swears hes a badass the way he swims up with the bigger arowanas.

you guys think my 3 4.5'' pbass will pick on it?
