Jardini+Silver+kiddie pool

As Miguel said..You can only try.If I listened to the majority of automatic robot like answers on Jardinis, I would never have achieved a tank mate tolerant Jardini. The odds are against you but you wont know until you try. Just be prepared to separate and have some where to house the Jar should things go pair shape...

I think you are not in the sitsuation to atempt this mix. How big is your silver now? I know he was 8" over 4 months ago. Why not get the 135g set up? Setting up an indoor pond out of a swimming pool will take alot more then you think, better research heating and filtration.

I would just hate to see you run out and buy a 6 or 7" jardini and put it into that 55g of yours.

fish in a kiddie pool seems very non responsable something bad will surly happen do the fish a favor if you cant house them get rid of thm to someone that can..

yes the pool would only be for the colder months in the warmer months it would be in an 800 gallon pond. Also the 135 isnt that much better its to tall and narrow. Also i have already built diy wet dry filters and already have 800gph pumps.

Because of aggression, your kidde pool has to be pretty large so each can have their space. Also, your going to need a cover for the pool otherwise, you're going to have 2 dead aros from jumping. Fighting between them will make them jump even more. The Doctor,

Ya I would doubt the aro could use the extra 2 feet in length and the couple of extra inches in width.:screwy: Not to mention the extra 11" of hight. Most people will tell ya height don't matter, but it does give alot of speration between mid level swimmers and top level swimmers with equates to more swimming space.

I think the 135g is a much better option then a kiddie pool.

I say on of those 12' pools today for fifty and thinking of that as a permanent indoor pond would that be okay I already have some heavy duty pumps.
