maybe im just lucky but ive had my jar for two years now and i dont have a top, to lazy to make one. and he never attempted to jump- well he did once when i was lazy with his water change but once i kept up to date with the w/c's he hasnt jumped since.

some people say when your arowana jumps out and dies it means that somethin bad was suppose to happen to you but your arowana jumps out and take the death instead of you. its a myth with arowana. but sorry for your lost. I love my aros wouldnt want them to suicide either
Sorry to hear that, i woke up this morning after i heard a splash and something hit the floor, i look and it was my silver aro flopping around, threw him back in right away and hes alright now thankfully. I taped up the little tiny hole he jumped out of until i can get some materials to cover it
that sucks... sorry for your loss. my baby silver jumped out twice luckily i was in the room both times. ps dont let cats near your fish tank......it makes them jump lol
