Jardini Tank Mates?

Wow a 12" gator gar got a killed buy a 5" jar! I've seen gator gar tried ate a 7" jar before. This surprise me! Lol!
 
At the Denver Aquarium (professionally run) they have a tank with silver, black and gold aro's in with several jardini's, aropimas, royal clown knifes...a pretty impressive tank (of course it's probably 1,000+ gal). They all appeared to get along, however what I've noted in my tanks appeared to be true there as well, if the largest fish is more passive it seems to keep a lid on the smaller, more aggressive fish. In the Denver Aquarium, the aropima was by far the largest so the jars and aro's seemed fairly calm.

I have to go to the aquarium now!!!! I have never seen them there before!
 
My Black and Jardini get along, so far. Black is about 14" and the Jar is about 7", they all get along with the other Dats in a 125g.

Are you from denver? I love the silvers in that tank but all of them a great fish.

I remember seeing a few giant gourami in that tank too.
 
nice i hope ur doesnt hit the agressive point at 9" or 12" even tho iv never experienced the aggressive point
