Jardini tank size

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I very much doubt that a jardini will grow to 3ft in an aquarium.

I know of many jardini that have been kept in more than adequate tanks for a very long time and they have not reached far past the 2ft mark.

With jardini....I would say a 180 (6x2x2) would be bare minimum.

I think your tank would suffice for a Jardini. What else is going in with it?

Carl.

Stop saying if or can it wont.. simple as that. and thats a wild fish not a captive one..

the odds of it getting near 3ft are slim to none

yep

ive also seen 3ft silver arowanas in the aquarium as well

You posted a pic of a wild jardini, I asked if you'd seen a 3 foot jardini in captivity. If so, then where's the pic?

And btw that wild jardini is more like 30 inches, not 3 foot.

if thats what he measured then..........yeeeeeeea.

hmm i see the question now... In wild they have a better variety of food to eat and have better water in there home than we would in an aquarium.. along with outher things im sure
also the fact that they can eat how ever much they want anytime i guess would help also
