this was 4 years ago and i didnt know, if you know damn well and buy the fish anyways because you wanted it that bad, then shame on you.
i was lucky though, i started with a 180 instead of a 55 or a 125
she would be dead from such a tiny tank size or outgrow it so bad that i would have to give her back to a lfs and then be dead
when your a small 8th grader things seem alot bigger than they seem, my 180 semmed like 300 gallons at the time.
if she died for some reason however, that would be it for me and aros for a very long time.
all of my fish are 180 qualified, therefore i would no longer need a motive to get a bigger tank, jsut a new 180 becasue this ones a peice of ****.
now if she died, and i got another one to keep in the same 180, THAT would make me a hypocrite
OK folks, I deleted the name-calling, profane, and inciteful posts. Name-callers/profanity slingers received the following message (I'm posting it here in case I missed anyone):
This isn't just going to you but, everyone involved. I don't care what the circumstances are, any name-calling or profanity will result in a suspension. Young family members (mine included), frequent MFK forums and I won't stand for any breach of etiquette on this site.
If you have a problem with someone, notify a mod instead of bringing yourself down to their level by arguing or resorting to name-calling/profanity.
Remember this is about the fish we keep. Please, keep it clean and orderly.
You can keep the discussion going. Any further 'upheavals' upsetting the flow of the thread will result in its closure.

What tank? my 125 my 75 20 10 or my pond?
my tanks have this.
125: 2 silver arowanas 1 clown knife 1 lima catfish 2 bichirs 1 baby oscar everything is less than 7"
75: 1 8" normal pleco 3 neon tetras 5 goldfish
20: 2 sets of pairec convicts so 4 convicts.. growing out than will be put into the 75gallon
10: sick largemouth bass
pond: 4 small koi 8 goldfish 2 turtles 3 armored cats alot more will be added to this over the month
