Ok, well what if the fish are larger than the jardini? A bit larger.
 
The jar will still kill them these are something you keep alone

Tell that to the Jars that don't read MFK. My Jar stayed with Discus. This was before the internet and the fish and I didn't know any better. Not all of them are blood thirsty killers.

Sounds like yours was an exception to the rule. As above, it is always safest to hope for the best but prepare for the worst. If you're going to try mixing your jar with other fish in a smaller tank you should have the means to separate them if necessary.
 
Well, my Jardini doesn't look like it wants to fight or hurt anyone so I think I might be fine. It has been growing a bit, its now at least 12 inches and I think by 2014 it will have out grown the tank. So we might be planning a bigger tank.
 
It's eating very well at the moment, I think it will grow fast.
