These days Jardini's have internet access and have all read the stuff that says they are bad. I won't try that again. Now I have a Lei. We will see how that goes when he goes into a comm.

Yeah, the internet has been ruining good fish since at least the late nineties!

Well, would a goonch catfish be fine? A dwarf goonch catfish, my family don't want Peacocks, they think they are gonna kill my arowana......

That there is such thing as a dwarf goonch is up for debate. Do you know of a vendor claiming to have one for sale?

Ok, I'll get photos.

my jardini is a discriminate killer. he picks his favorites and leaves them alone while he kills the others. he has killed plecos, cichlids, Oscars... right now his buddy is a little tilapia. I bought a bunch and threw them in there and he killed or chased them all except this one. I like this pairing because the tilapia eats all his leftovers. he keeps the tank bottom pretty spotless. my jardini can't get to all the leftover bloodworms for example, the tilapia takes care of all of that.

You must get a fish big enough to pick on the jardini. But not eat it. This way the fish has a fighting chance. My jardini and the others are Doing fine. Also lower your temperature to about 76-78. This way less agression
