Hey Prophet.... I'm going to attempt the harmony... I have two young aros, and one 125 gallon, right now they're separate in 30 gallon tanks because they're still small. I'm going to try to get them used to each other.... any tips?

Patience is key. Any signs of aggression..you gotta separate the two. Below is a post while back, and a technique a departed friend used, which I used 16 years ago myself, which is the picture of my avatar, and they were in a 75g at the time.

I'm planning to do it again, once my 125 GALLON is cycled. I already have a jar, but will look for a silver of equal size..5"-6".

One thing I have learned in life the past 40+ years..NO ONE CAN TELL YOU WHAT TO DO OR NOT TO DO.. decision is up to you on how you proceed. Everyone thinks they are experts with the least amount of years but they're not. Even "experts" with 30 years or more are always learning something new.

I am by no means an expert, nor claim to be...I simply share my experience. Just remember that there always risks, like everthing else in life. Living creatures are unpredictable. Just like humans, you can meet someone once and hit it off famously, on the other hand you will hate/depise this person. Same for animals.

Nothing worse than a bunch of naysayers with nothing positive to add but knock you, and when you are successful, the same lines from them..oh you got lucky, it was just a fluke.blah..blah..:irked:

But anywho..here's the link:
