great looking jar. how old is this guy? beautiful colors. i've been pumping my 5+" with gut loaded crickets and market shrimp- hopefully he'll pick up those colors as he/she matures.

jar's color depends on the surroundings
have a dark substrate and background and the jar should get dark in a few weeks

yeah
previously he did not like people coming close to his tank
now he waits for someone to come close to the tank and then starts going in circles and comes close to the glass to look at who is there

he had bigger barbels when he was a little smaller, i mean when he was like 12"-14"

now he is 17-18" annd the barbels have grown smaller

yeah he got DE when he was somewhere around 9 or 10", he used to bang against the tank walls, making real loud thuds and ocassionally putting a scratch or two on the glass
