last 1 as far as i kno, very hard to come by. for some reason, last week, i posted a wtb and some1 posted also a fs of a 12'' frt in ohio, the threads got totally erased. ???? I dont kno why the administrators erased it. all rules were followed in the marketplace.

i havent checked if its a boy or girl yet. im gonna let him get used to the tank and then check later on. so far 2nd day, this morning, he's been relaxing and ate all the algae walfers. im gonna let him bulk up on algae walfer and then introduce him to other food later.

Maybe because they are in illegal I think, or to bring them in anymore is illegal. Yes I seen the one in Ohio at 10in when I was trying to hunt one down. I think the guy had two and realize they both were the same sex..

wow i never even heard of these things until your thread. wiki says they're the only freshwater turtle with flippers like sea turtles, I WANT ONE. btw how big do these guys get in captivity? he looks like hes a tank buster.

As far as i kno. Its listed in CITES II so its still okay to hav as long aslong as its not exported from another country. They sell these at lfs but its very rare. Look at the sticky at rep/amp section.
