I picked up a 17” jardini today. He’s beautiful and very healthy but I noticed on one side of his body he has 3-4 olive green/black smudges around a quarter inch in diameter maybe slightly bigger. At first I thought it was black ich AKA diplopstomiasis but the blotches are too big, all on one side of the body, and none are in the mouth. I didn’t even notice the spots until I got home, my quarantine tank isn’t big enough for him long term, and he came from a pretty spotless tank from a serious large fish keeper I know so I gave him a salt bath and added him to the 550g. Just wanted to get anymore insight if possible so if more treatment is needed I can jump on it.
