JARDINI

Deep Blue Sea: while understanding why some of the people on this site can sound harsh at times, I find it commendable that you are part of MFK...you clearly care and respect and love your fish..so much so that you seek the opinions/information of others on this site, all the while seeking out the best interests of your fish...even after you have discussed your varying and changing fish and their needs with other non members before posting on MFK. Good job.

I had both species and it only lasted a day. The jardini tore the silver's fins up so bad that I wasn't going to just sit there and let the inevitable happen. That was adding a silver to a jar's tank not the other way around as you are doing.
A silver's aggression is nothing like a jardini's. I just have a feeling that once the jardini becomes comfortable with his surroundings that you will be needing to seperate them. I wish you luck though.

Ive had them since yesterday and last night nothing happened

That's because the Jardini is not comfortable yet. Wait til they settle in and grow up a bit more. I bet u the Jardini will tear your silver apart and that's from personal experience of having both for a long time. Anyhow goodluck with your pair;)

It might last longer then that but who knows when the Jardini will snap. Eventually the Jardini will kill the Silver and that's what happened to mine when I had both in the same tank.
