the cuts
will not eat pellets i have been starving him for well over a month and not one pellet eaten what to do wait it out or give in?

Hard decision, give it and waste a month or continue the suffering. How big is it? Red Devil's silver aro went 7 weeks without eating, so they can survive long stretches without. Does your jar look as if it is getting skinny? How does it act, any signs of being lethargic?

Hmmmm... Interesting!!! I could not even do it for a month! I would probably give in even though I don't want to! Really hard decision!

freeze dried krill or shrimp always worked for me

Yea ain't it annoying that after one month they still don't want to eat, I recently restarted the starving to get my guy to eat pellets. Surprisingly I got him to take down four pellets today but I tried again tonight and he refused. Guess now that he has something in his stomach he's not giving in again, so well see. In the time from when j started the starving till tonight where he ate makes one month and a week give or take a day or so. Hell no am I giving up now, I've tasted victory.

Dont give in, my Golden Perch went over 3 months without food. He eventually gave in and will take frozen food now, not even defrosted.

They can go a long time without food. Just ensure they are not stressed from tankmates.

A month without feeding at all?
you've cheated, admit it.
