on a rock
hi i was at my lfs and they were saying that it might be possible to keep 3 jardini's in the same tank, but not 2. i always thought that you can't keep more than 1 in a tank, because they will keep on fighting and eventually kill each other. i want to try this, but i don't want to end up wasting about $100 on two jardini's when one of them will prevail as the victor in the tank. i already have 1 jardini to start with. could someone help me with this dilemma. thanks.

Wait so what's your question? You want to keep 3 jardinis in the same tank?
Never saw that before, and if you don't want to risk it don't. You're asking for trouble when you add something to a Jardini's tank.

yeah i was wondering if anyone has put at least 3 jars in the same tank before. the jars would be the same size.

It definately possible, but the tank would have to be huge...

3 jars? maybe it's possible with other species, but jars?? my LFS just stocked 12 baby jar (2") in a huge tank (180x70x60 cm) but in the next 2 days they found 2 jars were dead (just left half of their body). they're killer even since them were babies..

Do you think they might have given them too much room?? I have heard even when making an asian aro community that you have to keep them overstocked all the time, even if that means blocking off half of your tank untill they get bigger and then letting them utilize the space.

I wouldn't try it though. I don't know if he is right or wrong, but I just wouldn't try it.

if you packed say 6 x 12inch jars into a 3ft tank it may work :D
