Java Datnoid

Anybody heard of these Java Datnoid's

A guy at my lfs had 2 of them for $150 and he said they were very rare. I dont plan on buying them, i just wanted to see how rare they were, they were pretty cool looking.

Theyre pretty cool. They usually go by the name of New Guinea Datnoid ( Datnoid Campbelli ) They the rarest of the known species of datnoids and said to be the most aggressive towards conspecifics.

150 is not a bad price. Go for it !

sweet thanks for the info, i'd love to buy it, but i can't drop that much right now cuz of xmas and were going on vacation in early jan.

They get a very rich coloration, here is a picture from fishbase, (Weston, G.)
