Hello Everyone, I got some Needle Leaf Java Fern from a friend around 4 or 5 weeks ago and ever since it has been in my tank, it has appeared to be melting. I upgraded my lighting and I got shrimp maintaining the algae so not 100% sure what is going on.. Can sombody help?

I agree with Wideglide04 Wideglide04 , its probably just adjusting to the new tank.
Java fern is one of the easiest and hardiest plants you can get, even if you just leave 1 leaf floating around you will end up with it growing into a new plant in a few months. They dont really need special lighting or fertilisers so are perfect for low tech setups.

High intensity - strong light will melt Java fern. It prefers low light. And don't make the easy mistake of burying the roots in substrate.
