So i was doing a water change on my 75 and in have bundle of java fern and i was looking at it and it has little java ferns with roots on one of its leafs. Is this the way they reproduce or something they grow plants on there leaves? Im not really a plant guy but i have just had this java fern for a while and it kind of cool it reproduced. Should i take the little plants off and plant them?

Yes, that is how they reproduce. They can also reproduce from a large piece of a leave or by dividing the rhizome. If it has roots, you can remove it or you can leave it alone and it will continue to grow. When the leaf gets old, the new plant will detach from the old one.

Thanks for the info. The baby plant has some big roots on it so i took it off and planted it.
