i am glad to report that java fern can tolerate brackish i have had some in my 1.010 sg tank for almost four months now and it is still green and doing fine

I've also read that java moss can withstand brackish water too.

i have three small ones and one of them is growing new leaves im going to add another large one to the tank i have to put fertalizer in the tank for them everyonce in a while tho since my mangrove plant takes up all the nutrients in the tank my g tile likes to hide around them and the driftwood stumps i have in there but how do i get the fern to grow on the driftwood

Use a rubberband or some string and tie it to the wood, eventually it will attach itself.
