Anyone raise it? What do you attach it to to grow? I am interested in buying some... (Pm me or e-mail, arherp@yahoo.com)

It can grow like wildfire. You can almost attach it to anything, just gotta use something to anchor it to the object (rubber band, plant anchor, fishing line, etc).

I use green cotton sewing thread to anchor it to rocks, decoration or driftwood. It has low light requirements. When you attach it, take care to spread it out evenly so all the fronds can get good light exposure. It should grow readily for you, though not particularly quick. Moss is very difficult to kill. Be sure to anchor it adequately so that it does not float around your tank and get sucked into your intake.

Ok, thanks. Does anyone know where I can get some? My LFS sell it for 6.99 a strand!

You just want normal java moss? I sell it. I have about a basketball of it in a holding tank. I use it to ship my inverts and always have a ton. I sell it for $4 a golfball or so starter portion plus shipping.
