java moss

You wouldn't plant it in the substrate, but instead, attach it to a rock or driftwood or something by wrapping thread around the root (rhizome). Over time, it will attach itself, and the thread will disintegrate.

How new is the tank? What type of lighting? These are low-light plants, but do need some lighting. I would set up a timer on the light and provide 6-8 hours per day, at least.

thats a good question... i'm setting up my tank so I'm not sure yet but can they survive in high lighting? I hear they are good for fry and small fish. can anyone show me a pic? What does it eat? do any fish eat it and if so is tis a problem? I'm sorry but I'm really new and if anyone can answer the rest of my unsaid questions can you please post hear so i can voice them?

? what do you mean, what does it eat? it eats the same thing any other aquatic plant eats, nutrients from the water. also it is a plant so it is organic, no it will not hurt the fish if they eat it and some fish will eat some of the moss

carbon and sunlight... its good because like any plants gives off oxygen... so ur fish will have more biological filtration...

No offense, but the questions you asked regarding the moss were hilarious. Just made me laugh. Good luck though with the java moss.
