lol I have thread, I need to find some java moss!

I bought 10 cups of it for $30 with shipping. having a hard because they tend to break away. but i'll manage.

i use fishing line to attach it to DW, stuff grows very easy and needs little light. you can throw it in a 5gal bucket and throw it outside and watch it grow. i use it in all my fry tanks as it give lots of hideing places for young fry and they also keep it clean of any left over food.

If you have wood in ur tank it will attach to it and u will never see the wood again. The only way to kill it on the wood is let it dry out in the sun for like a couple of weeks. Don't let rain get on it or it will come back.

ive never been able to get it to attach to anything.it grows really well but wont stay stuck to driftwood or rocks.It makes nice tumbleweeds in my tanks though

Something I once tried in a 30 gallon was to push an iron nail through the center of the clump into the gravel. I never had to remove the nail, since it was hidden from view by the moss, and the moss soon attatched itself to the surrounding gravel.
