This unit is great, the 7W. I have one in a 75 and the other in a 125. Both tanks are by windows with no algae build up, all fish are in great shape. I was even able to squeeze a Pura pad in instead of the carbon pad.
The lamp lasted almost a full yr. Turned it off only twice to clean the casing and pad.
So if you're looking for a decent UV to us on a 125 or smaller, here ya go.
