JD 1 Year Old

I've been around for a while but never post anything on here so lets start.

1 Year Old since I got it at 1.5-2inches Now it's 9 inches.

everyone's JDs are so big and gorgeous! i've had mine for a year. he/she lived in a 10 gallon for the first few months until i bought the 55 but is still a midget at about 5 inches. he has grown about an inch in the 55. but that's it. and he still doesn't have full adult coloration

Be patient, feed him high quality pellets and add variety with treat twice a week (bloodworm/shrimp/criket/etc...). Do small frequent water changes every week.

That's a very nice JD!

I had one for about 6-7 months with 2 Oscars and he didn't really grow that much, the Oscars shot up to 8-9 inches in that time but the JD was still at about 4-5 and his colours were nothing like that. He had grey bars all the way down his back. I had to let him go when I added the Jag and he became everyones whipping boy.

very nice JD.....perfect body shape unlike a lot of larger JD's I see pics of...very well done
