hi trying to figure out what is wrong with my JD he is rubbing against rocks and twitching, there is no sign of ick, so idk whats wrong, the 2 other fish in the tank seem fine but idk whats up with this one, hes just not acting right and he doesnt eat, well he does but he eats very strangly, he will eat the food then spit it back out but only does this half of the time when i feed him, any ideas as to what maybe causing these behaviors

Flicking on objects is a sympton of a parasite. Also, the difference in eating makes me think its probably an internal parasite. Just examine the fish, also if you are able to see what the poo looks like, sometimes you might see a worm. Juts look around the fishes body too for anything. I would suggest seperating ti to another tank if you are able. Just because your other fish dont have anything now, doesnt mean they wotn get it later.
Is the fish flickign itself on the ground or objects, or jsut twitching? Theres a difference, If its twitching around and not eating right it could be reacting to soemthing else. What are your water conditions? Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate etc?

It could be, but also there is other parasite disease that have these kinda symptoms too. Thats why the fish needs to be examined closely to see if theres anything noticeable on the body. But you have to first rule out the possibility that the water conditions arent right.
ok ijust took a good look at the JD but nothing like spots or anything saying he is sick he was a little twitchy,and all levels are at 0, i mean the water isnt cloudy, but there looks to be algea growing all over the gravel but idk why cuz all levels are at 0 and that ick thing ya thats what i thought it was but this has been goin on for 1 week didnt think anything of it until i really watch the JD and saw what it was doin, also i have had my test kit for about a year can it be old and not giving acurate readings
ok now it seems like all the fish in the tank are freaking out, lol its not really funny but they are swimming so fast side to side like they saw a ghos or somthing, and my older JD is shaking his head for some reason, wow i think i really need to figure this out and quick
could be ich, or some other external parasite, examine them closely. Perhaps it came in with the new plants
