JD and Texan breeding?

I used him as a source of information before I came here. The author to all of the pages is an older man and when he learned fish keeping a few decades ago most of the tank sizes he listed were generally accepted back then. Compared to a lot of the horrible sources you could find on the internet, his pages are pretty accurate and he has a wide variety of fish pages. You also have to keep in mind he owns a pet store, where is most cases the larger fish are traded in. He can't have a few 100g+ tanks on reserve just for fish that get traded in.

ok yeah i was just reading that one page and saw how small the tank was and when it came to water params it was like, i dont know just aged water, and tank looked all dirty and everything and didnt have airation by eggs so they all fungused over, but i dont know about his other pages so i cant say anything about his info as a whole just that page

I think they look cool too but my main concern is that my JD's growth will slow to a crawl. I have had her since she was the size of the tip of my pinky and now she is about 4 inches or so. She is a nice fish and I want her to grow!

I was wondering the samething.My female JD is really cozying up to my male Tex.They are cool looking hybrids.
