Depends on the JD. I was given 2. One stayed by itself for along time and still does alot. The other one, that I got rid of, immediately took over the tank and attacked anyone that didn't hide.

hes moving around more than when i got him. but when i walk near the talk he goes crazy for his little spot. im assuming thats normal cuz my pleco,and my ck do the same.

Asking because mine will do that if I let the water go for 2 weeks w/o changing (vacation's... don't get excited
). I usually change 1x per week, could it be your water conditions? Just a thought or another possibility

All new fish need some time to adjust to their new surroundings. Some fish it is ten minutes and some may take weeks. I have owned fish from both ends of the spectrum.

his colors havent kicked in yet. the only color is his face. green spots going down his face just my a GT. when i drop in sum beefhearts he attacks aggressively, then hides. he slowly hes coming back. i see him swimming but when i get around he guns it to his spot. so does the pleco. now my ck is just chill. very lazy indeed.but for water changes. twice a month. 40% wc
