JD help

my jd's did the same thing last week they are only 3 inches each and surprise! wigglers this morning..they where doing the same thing in the back of the tank..about the feeding mine dont care they act like puppy dogs all through the egg stage and come out to eat all the time only to go back when done.I am surprised at how small they are to have fry all ready i figured in a few months ,but not this small.

just got home from work and the male is in the same spot. the female is wandering around. I REALLY think they're guarding something but I don't c any eggs :-(
