JD, silver dollar and bichir in a 60 gal ?

You have a lot of almost the same threads lately, don't you? Just pick some fish and give it a try. Move stuff if you need to. I never start my fish in their permanent home anyway. I always start them in smaller tanks and move faster growing fish to bigger tanks and wait for the smaller ones to grow out. Set up a couple tanks and give yourself some leeway to work with. One tank just makes things difficult

I dont have room for a couple of tanks thats why i want to get my one tank right
If you can only have one tank get the biggest think you can fit/afford right now and stock all this fish you want like Oscars and stuff like your threads are all on. A 6 ft aquarium opens up so many more options in a cichlid community imo get a used 125 or 180
gotta at least do a quarantine or hospital tank. Every good fishkeeper has at least one for each. Otherwise, you're probably gonna end up w/ problems
1 tank only is ok to treat as quarantine first setup, once done you pretty much keep your tank same as it for the rest of it life, unless you're careless and just add new fish later on without quarantine it first and pray/hoping that new added stock don't carry a disease 
While many people said 40~60 gallons tank is a great starter but I wouldn't do that, I would get at least 125+ and best is 180 that will last for life for many fish species (this suggestion only apply to one that commit/enjoy this hobby for years to come and not only few months cause of temptation).

For 60G you will have to decide either Oscar or JD for solo and not for life cause the Oscar would likely out grow your tank less than a year, 60G too small for Senegal or Del Bichir. Also, I speaking in my own experienced and I can see you won't settle down with your plans few months later, you WILL look for more fishes because pretty much you will get bore with solo species in 60G tank.
If space is an issue go for a wider tank and not a longer one like a tank with a 4x2 footprint. Small length and height of a 90 gallon but a little wider and better for the fish you want.
