JD, silver dollar and bichir in a 60 gal ?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yeah
If space is an issue go for a wider tank and not a longer one like a tank with a 4x2 footprint. Small length and height of a 90 gallon but a little wider and better for the fish you want.
that could work what gallon would that be ?

There's the 120 gallon 4x2x2 and the 150 gallon 4x2x2.5. there's also the 150 gallon 5x2x2. The 120 gallon is the most common out of the 3, and the 4x2x2.5 150 won't have much benefit over the 120 anyway because there the same footprint.

Do 90+ if you can.

DEFINITELY get a 75 over a 65 (or 55). I have a 65 and it's nice in that it fits in a smaller space with the 3-foot length, but it seriously limits the stock you can have vs. a 4-foot tank even though it's only 10 gallons less water. Learn from my mistake. Go as big as you can afford/fit, unless you want smaller fish like a SA community of tetras etc.

A Senegal or Delhezi would work in a 65 or 75 gallon, but again, I am telling you... go for at least a 4 foot long tank if you can swing it. You won't regret it.
