JD tankmates...

Not really why? I thought maybe i would rack up some credit at the lfs, case i needed a pump or something for the pond that is in planning.. I just like to watch them breed. I have yet to see them do it in this tank as My buddy was holding them for me.. and they have moved twice in the past 30 days and lost a full batch in the first move so i'm waiting.. :) but why do you ask?

Because looking at stotty's fish makes me want one.

A 40 is nice for 1 jd maybe a pair. I have a 65 g. with a 6" jd, 2 salvini paired, and a couple cons, It still seems crammed to me. Even with 25 more gallons of capacity. just keep the jd alone or put em with maybe 1 con, and 1 firemouth.

It wouldn't be worth your time to ship them from Utah to Wisconsin :) I'm willing when they drop to give you some.. But i'm telling ya shipping would kill you for this 1 to 10 dollar fish even though i'd give you 10 for free.. THey are very common throughout the US. I seen some at our lfs for 1.99.

Ok I think I'm going to pass on the JD... Here are my plans for my tank(s) (I'm getting another when my brother moves out for college, I would much rather have a tank than him lol)... 35- convict pair for feeders 40- Crenicichla Sveni (peanut got to me) and a GT. Sounds good?

Yup!!. Never had Pikes but they are one of the raves!!

LOL
