JD with horns?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I used to breed JDs and have never seen "horns". If it doesnt seem to bother it then it should be okay. Maybe theyll get bigger. Sounds like a bada$$ JD!!!

It is a sweet fish (my avatar is him).

I've continued vigorous water changes, and all parameters are as low as they can possibly get at this point. Diet has continued to be varied and abundant. The bumps remain however :(

They've been there since he was just a baby, if he developed them from the LFS will they ever go away? And will this hurt his fry or breeding chances if I decide to breed him?

He has such good color and personality (though a bit aggressive) and would hate to lose him

sounds like you are being very diligent with the water changes and feeding so I wouldn't worry too much. Sometimes fish have minor deformities. For example there is a gorgeous trimac at my LFS with amazing color but his pectoral fins are both slightly curved so he swims kinda funny. From the look of your avatar he is a looker and appears healthy so screw it.
