HA ha I have to admit that I've never thought of it that way before.
 
I love overstocked/overfiltered tanks with tons of fish... but I also like clean, aquascaped tanks in which none of the fish will outgrow the tank. Unlike most JDM tanks which are completely bare (stressed fish much?) and half the fish will grow to like, twice the length of the freakin' tank... see sig. I'm 100% against this whole JDM thing. Fishkeeping is about the fish, not about the keeper. Thank gosh this whole JDM fad is on its way out because it sucks.
 
^ It may fade out in Western counties, but as far as Asia is concerned, i think JDM is going to be here for a long long time... or at least till land/space isn't worth nearly as much as it is...

Yeah,I don't think it is on the way out as much as some of the bandwagon jumpers probably losing interest in it but it will continue on in the country where it was started....and probably in some neighboring areas.
